It's fun and easy to grow apples.
Planting bare root trees:
Planting in the late winter or early spring is generally the best time to get your new fruit tree in the ground. Trees with bare roots are best planted after they have soaked in warm water for 24 hours.
Planting potted trees:
As long as the ground isn't too frozen fruit delivered in pots can be planted all year round.
However, our dwarf trees are ideal for containerisation; just make sure you select an appropriate sized containar of not less than 24''.
Ideally you will want to position your tree in a sunny, sheltered site, well away from waterlog prone areas and frost pockets.
Caring for your new tree is important if you wish it to bear lovely fruits for you to enjoy. Once established, your apples will require very little care throughout the year.
