Tsuga grows well in an environment with high air humidity. Requires sheltered, semi-shaded places and fertile, moist soil. It doesn't do well in drought and heat however, resistant to low temperatures.

The roots are encased in its required pot with soil, or in a bag with moistened soil if the plant you have ordered is bare-root. As a result, during transit the roots remain moist, the tree can stay hydrated and arrive in healthy condition, ready to be planted.
