Very hardy and easy to grow, it only requires an annual trim in late autumn or winter to keep it compact and tidy. Fantastic in large patio planters as a feature or planted in the open garden, being a willow, it will thrive in pretty much all soils, even in challenging damp positions that don't often dry out, so a good watering regime is required if patio planting.

Grows to a mature height of 1.5 - 2.5m / width 1.5 - 2.5m in 10 - 20 years.
