A full sun lover, this plant is easily grown in average, moist, well-drained soils. Bear in mind that foliage density loosens up in too much shade.

Thuja Smaragd thrives in humid weather with regular rain and is intolerant of dry conditions. Generally, your tree will require little maintenance, but whilst young be aware to keep weed-free and protected from drying winds that can damage a young tree.

Grows to a mature height of 4.5m/ width 1.5m, over 20 years.
